1. Go to “Events”.
2. Click “Add New” at the top of the page.
3. Add the information
- Title – e.g. “Guest Speaker – Firstname Lastname”
- Body:
- TOPIC:
- LOCATION:
- HOST:
- SPEAKER:
- AFFILIATION:
- SERIES:
4. Add event details
- Start Date/Time
- End Date/Time
- Recurrence
- Include/Exclude occurrences
- Venue

5. Edit the discussion section
- Allow comments if you want others to comment on the event page
- Uncheck allow comments if you do not want others to comment on the page

6. Click “Publish” to publish the event.
7. Go to “Seminars”, and the new event created will show up in the calendar.
